The Director of DCI-Congo has appealed for intervention into the indescribably inhuman situation in the Congo, in particular in the east, where women and children are raped, maimed, murdered, tortured, turned into sex slaves and child soldiers, where human beings have nothing left to protect their lives and humanity.
