Defence for Children International-Czechia is active since 1990 and officially registered in the Czech Republic in 1991.

It became a DCI section in 1990 during the International General Assembly of DCI held in Granada.

DCI-Czechia is based in Prague.

It can count on a team of 20 people working on fully voluntary basis.
Its General Assembly is composed by those people with different expertise in the field of human rights, education, participation, international cooperation, social and health care, social activism, environmental issues and militancy.

FIELDS OF INTERVENTION:

Defence for Children Czechia operates in the Czech Republic, for and with children, carrying out initiatives for the  protection and promotion of rights in the following areas:

  • Monitoring the Implementation of CRC
  • Juvenile Justice
  • Education to Human Rights and Children Rights
  • Children´s Participation
  • Volunteering and International Co-operation
